Based on information by concerned citizens, STAC Team Agents conducted a three month long undercover investigation into activities at 3811 Penny Street. Thursday, November 1, 2007 Agents raided the house armed with search warrants. STAC Team Commander, Sgt. Gerry Norris said during the course of the investigation, Agents recovered several ounces of crack cocaine, two handguns, and several thousand dollars in cash.

Agents arrested Barbara Ann Davis, age 37, and James Edward Battle, Jr. age, 47, and charged them with multiple counts of Trafficking in Cocaine. Davis also faces additional charges for Unlawful Distribution of Crack Cocaine and Conspiracy to Distribute Crack Cocaine. Both Davis and Battle have been booked in the Madison County Metro Jail. Their bond has been set at $1,500,000. (1.5 million-dollars each). Norris added the bond on repeat offenders is being set higher to keep drug traffickers from getting out of jail.
