| Two Charged in STAC Team Major Drug Bust |

On Monday, April 14th, highway interdiction Agents of the Madison-Morgan County Strategic Counter Drug Team (STAC) arrested two men and confiscated 15 kilos of cocaine worth an estimated street value of $2,000,000. Commander Gerry Norris said Agents conducted a traffic stop of an eighteen-wheeler north bound on I-65 near Priceville. Agents conducted a routine commercial vehicle safety inspection which led them to believe the truck was carrying contraband. A drug sniffing dog alerted on the drugs.
Agents arrested Jose G. Martinez Vazquez, age 39, and Aldo Raymundo Garza, age 37, and charged them with Trafficking in Cocaine. The suspects are from Brownsville, Texas and Investigators believe they were headed for Chicago, Illinois. The men are being held in the Morgan County Jail.
